Deputy Care Manager – Care Team

Hello. I’m Monica.

I joined Right at Home Havant in June 2019. I returned to care work after a few years away for a career change. I’d previously worked as a community carer for 12 years whilst my children were growing up.

I can honestly say it feels like coming home. The whole team are genuinely committed to our client’s wellbeing and there’s a great team spirit.

I embraced the role of Senior Care Giver after 6 months service and completed my NVQ Level 3 Care whilst in this role through Right at Home. I am pleased to say that I was awarded a Distinction.

In March 2021 I was promoted to the role of Care Supervisor which led me to be more office based but still engaging with our wonderful clients.

Fast forward to April 2022 and I’m now Deputy Manager working with a great team to ensure that our clients continue receive OUTSTANDING care.

Away from Right at Home I like to relax by catching up with my now grown-up children, walks with my husband and swimming. I also coach children at my martial arts club. I love gardening and it’s regularly a topic of conversation when I visit our clients and potential clients.

We deliver companionship and personal care plus specialist care, particularly for those living with dementia. Right at Home Havant & Petersfield  provides care across a large area including  Havant, Emsworth, Hayling Island, Waterlooville, Liphook, Midhurst and Petersfield.
